About Glass Action

The Studio

At the GLASS ACTION studio, established in 1986, the works created become one-of-a kind art objects. By using techniques appropriate in maintaining the distinctive integrity of the glass being used, the studio produces jewelry, dishwasher-safe tableware, and art works. While a thin colored fused glass is used for the jewelry, a thicker palette of glass is used for the tableware and etched glassware.

The Art

The glass colors used are specially made to fuse together. After repeated melting’s, cooling, cutting, layering, etching, slumping, and remolding produces an incredible variety of patterns, each piece is unique in its own detail.

The GLASS ACTION has advanced over the years, adding distinctive jewelry, and products of glass, which have surfaces that are permanent, and food safe.
